genU is looking for Female Overnight Sleep - Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Support person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve them
• Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting and medication administration
• Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed
• Administration duties and mandatory reporting

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Higher [CHC33021, CHC33015, CHC43121, CHC43115]
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).
• Extensive experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans
• Extensive experience working with challenging behaviours
• An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities
• Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity
• Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
• Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
