Hourly rate range: $27.35 to $34.78 (plus Super plus NFP Salary Packaging)

genU is looking for a enthusiastic Male Support worker who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by being a support buddy to our customers through various community activities.

What you’ll do

• Support person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve them;
• Join customers in the community and do recreational activities;
• Support customers in daily living skills;
• Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
• Administration duties and mandatory reporting

What you’ll bring

• Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
• Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
• An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
• A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).

Bonus points for

• Certificate III in disability or individual support or higher
