genU is looking for a reliable and supportive General Hand to roll up your sleeves in a hands-on timber manufacturing role. You’ll work alongside supported employees with disabilities, helping them build skills while producing quality timber products.

We’re completely open to flexible arrangements – because we know great people come with different needs. Full or Part time role working Monday to Friday only. 

What you’ll do

• Assist with day-to-day timber manufacturing tasks and production.
• Work alongside and mentor supported employees in the workshop.
• Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.

What you’ll bring

• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and pitch in.
• Practical, reliable, and happy to work in a team setting.
• Ability to guide and encourage people with disabilities at work.
• Understanding of safe work practices in a workshop.

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Bonus points for

• Professional timber work or manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a disability support setting.
