We are seeking applications for Support Workers in Geraldton for current and future opportunities. High Intensity Home

Due to the high intensity care required at this home, the base rate of pay for this location is $36.66 plus loading where applicable. Candidates must be female* and qualified in Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) or Cert IV in Disability (CHC43115 or CHC43121).

  • Option 1 - 40-50 hours a fortnight, start times ranging from 6:30am to shifts finishing as late as 7pm. Roster pattern built based on your availability!

General Vacancies

To be considered for the overnight sleep vacancies, candidates must be qualified in Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) or Cert IV in Disability (CHC43115 or CHC43121).

  • Option 5 - Future opportunities only, if none of the above options suit you

A typical day in the role may look like:

  • Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve them
  • Joining customers in recreational activities such as swimming, dancing, bingo, horseback riding, going to the gym, bowling and more
  • Supporting customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointments
  • Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
  • Administration duties and mandatory daily reports.

The ideal candidate:  

  • Candidates for overnight sleep rosters must be qualified in Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) or Cert IV in Disability (CHC43115 or CHC43121)
  • Be passionate about providing service and assistance and helping others live their best lives
  • Have willingness to support customers of any gender by assisting with personal care (showering, toileting) and domestic duties (meal preparation, housekeeping)
  • Have a valid driver’s licence and be willing to use their comprehensively insured private vehicle, if required, to transport our customers to activities or appointments
