We currently have an overnight sleep position in Yangebup for a Female Support Worker with experience with Dementia Awareness, Epilepsy and Midazolam. Please review the roster attached and apply if these hours suit your lifestyle and availability.

Key duties include:

• Delivering a wide range of domestic supports within high-needs customer residence;
• Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals;
• Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
• Administration duties, expense and mandatory reports.

What you’ll need?

• Experience with Dementia Awareness, Epilepsy and Midazolam; 
• Extensive experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans;
• Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration;
• Significant personal care and domestic duties experience;
• Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;
• Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or higher is essential;
• Willingness to use your fully insured and registered, private vehicle (aligned with Activ’s motor vehicle allowance rebate).
