A typical day in the role may look like…… 

  • Delivering a wide range of domestic supports within the home and community;
  • Supporting customers to engage in community-based activities;
  • Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals;
  • Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
  • Administration duties and mandatory daily reports.

The ideal candidate will have;

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
  • Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
  • Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration is required;
  • A willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience;
  • A willingness to use your own private vehicle to transport customers (aligned with Activ’s motor vehicle allowance rebate);
  • Proven administration and computer literacy skills.
