Support Worker - Overnight Sleep Rover

About the role 

We are seeking experienced and qualified support workers to join our rover team in Bunbury to cover overnight sleep shifts. As a rover, your experience, skills and knowledge, will enable you to provide shift coverage at any of Activ’s accommodation homes in the Bunbury region, ranging from Australind in the North to Usher in the South.  

As a Rover you will have a set roster pattern, however each shift could be at a different home. In addition to your rostered hours, you will have the opportunity to pick up more work if desired.  

The below roster patterns are currently available:

Please note that for overnight sleep shifts, during the sleep period you stay at the accommodation home in your own private room. 

What you need: 

  • Reside locally in the Bunbury region
  • Full unlimited work rights 
  • Qualified in Cert 3 Individual Support/Disability  
  • 2+ years' experience in disability or aged care is highly desired 
  • Willingness to support customers of any gender 
  • Experience working with a diverse range of customers, including assisting with personal care (showering, toileting, changing) and domestic duties (meal preparation and housekeeping) 
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (with rebates available)

  • Base pay rate of $32.41 per hour, plus 15% loading for afternoon/night shifts increasing the hourly rate to $36.27
