Salary: Full-time - $51,079 + NFP salary packaging + Superannuation (inc. NFP salary packaging)

genU is looking for a reliable and supportive General Hand to roll up your sleeves in a hands-on role. You will be working alongside supported employees with disabilities in completing gardening, grounds maintenance, landscaping and site clean-ups for commercial customers.

We’re completely open to flexible arrangements – because we know great people come with different needs. Full or Part time role working Monday to Friday only. 

What you’ll do

• Working alongside supported employees in completing gardening and grounds work.
• Safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Taking a proactive role in the safety of yourself and others.
• Maintaining documents such as timesheets and work orders.

What you’ll bring

• Great attitude towards working with people living with disability.
• Happy to work in the great outdoors doing physically demanding work.
• Someone who communicates well, has a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Handy with tools, gardening or trade background beneficial, but not essential.
• Current valid drivers licence - LR license highly regarded (minimum of Green P's).

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Bonus points for

• Landscaping or gardening experience
• Experience in a disability support setting.
