About the role

As a General Hand with genU's Property Care team in Bentley, you will work alongside a crew of people living with disability, in completing gardening, grounds maintenance, landscaping and site clean-ups for commercial customers.

Based from our Maida Vale or Bentley depot, this position will work across a variety of locations in the East Metro Region. This is a permanent full time position, willing to consider as Part time or Casual rates for the right candidate. Hours of work Monday to Friday, 7:24am-3:30pm, and will pay $25.85 per hour (approx. $51,079 equivalent) based on experience, plus super and salary packaging options. 

 Duties include:

• Working alongside supported employees in completing gardening and grounds work.
• Safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Taking a proactive role in the safety of yourself and others.
• Maintaining documents such as timesheets and work orders.

What you need:

• Great attitude towards working with people living with disability.
• Happy to work in the great outdoors doing physically demanding work.
• Someone who communicates well, has a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Handy with tools, gardening or trade background beneficial, but not essential.
• Current valid drivers licence - LR license highly regarded
