Activ Business Services is a WA based Disability Enterprise that provides quality products and services to our commercial customers. We also provide meaningful employment for people living with disability.

As an Employee Coordinator within Activ Business Services in Bunbury, you will be responsible for the recruitment, assessment, career planning and training of individuals living with disability, to assist them in achieving their career goals. This opportunity will suit a motivated and service-orientated individual who demonstrates a practical approach to their work and is a contributing team member.  

Located in Bunbury, this is a fixed term full time contract of 18 months, working Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and paying an hourly rate of $34.24.

Key duties include:

  • Identifying supported employees personal strengths and working to develop their skills and achieve their goals
  • Recruitment of supported employees, on-boarding, training and report writing
  • Introducing ideas on new ways to achieve tasks and responsibilities
  • Establishing and maintaining professional external relationships, and positively promoting Activ to the greater community 
  • Ensuring compliance with safety legislation and developing and maintaining a safe workplace

What you need?

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment - beneficial
  • Previous experience working with people living with a disability - desirable
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated experience in case management, and supporting the skills development of employees
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and executing learning and development programs
  • Current ‘C' class driver's licence
